MARK CULLEN APPEARS AT

10TH ANNUAL

SAUGEEN HOME AND RECREATION EXPO

Mark Cullen was the first of four guest speakers to appear at the Saugeen Home Expo. Mark shared his knowledge and passion for gardening with an entertaining talk. Mark is a bestselling author and has written 18 gardening books. He is also Home Hardware’s Gardening Expert. Mark is also host of “Gardening Tips with Mark” on CTV’s Canada AM. After his presentation, he answered questions and signed his books that he had for sale. He donated half of the proceeds of the book sales to the Walkerton Horticulture Society.

We want to thank Mark as well as our three other guest speakers who presented seminars during the weekend. Heather Smillie of Heather Smillie Designs, Jeff Davis of Davishill Nursery and Mary Walter of Para Paints.

The committee are already starting their planning for the 2011 Expo to be held

April 8th, 9th and 10th, 2011 at the Walkerton Agriculture Complex.

The Saugeen Home & Recreation Expo is comprised of four non-profit groups - Walkerton Figure Skating Club, Walkerton Kinsmen, Saugeen Home Builders Trade Association and the Walkerton Agriculture Society.
